Administration of UPIMAC

General Assembly:

The Centre is governed by the General Assembly, which is a supreme governing body comprising of all members, the board and management. The general assembly meets annually to give directions through planning, reviewing and reporting on the operations of the centre.

The Board:

The Board is made up of Seven (7) members with the responsibility of formulating strategic plans and make policy decisions.


Management is made up of three (3) managers with the Chief Executive Officer being the overall head who is answerable to the Board. There are two (2) line managers namely the Programme Manager and Finance and Administration Manager.

Management is supported by other technical and support staff in their respective sections.

Coordination Units:

The structure has coordination units at the regional, district and sub county levels, which are headed by the Regional Coordinators, District Coordinators and Sub county Facilitators respectively.
